Under the auspices of the Minister of Youth Affairs and Civic Education, Mounouna Foutsou, the Founding President of the None Governmental Organization, EMMI Empire, Dr Erise Mary Dinga has announced that the second edition of the Global Business Summit and Awards are slated for November 13 and 14, 2024 at the Cameroon Red Cross Hall and the Yaounde Hilton Hotel respectively. She did the announcement at a press conference granted last October 23, 2024 in Yaounde, in the presence of the Technical Adviser N°1 to the Minister of Youth Affairs and Civic Education, Ekani Micheline epouse Atanga.
Speaking as an Ambassador of the UN-Government joint initiative, Dr Erise Mary Dinga said they are expecting at least 1500 youths at the Global Business Summit and that the first one was done in Douala in 2022 and the second one will take place in Yaounde.
She also revealed that, “the 4th edition of EMMI EMPIRE Magazine will be launched on November 14, 2024 during the Awards at the Yaounde Hilton Hotel.”
Dr Erise Mary Dinga stressed that, “youths should no longer sleep but are hungry for financial freedom. You cannot be in my conference and nothing changes in your life”, she said.
Talking to reporters, she explained that, “we are expecting networking; because as a business or a leader or aspiring leader or business person, you have to learn how to connect with people, that is, create connection because if there is no connection, there can never be business. We will ensure that there is adequate networking. We are also expecting a mindset change because we think that Cameroon is so rich that nothing yet has been exploited, so we believe that coming together, we can bring quick development.”
Dr Erise Dinga added that, “we want to build the youth who are hard working and who are determined to bring the change in the country by work and not by complaining.”
