On March 7, 2018, a partnership agreement between Antwerp port and Douala port (PAD) was signed.
It was signed by Cyrus Ngo’o and Marc Van Peer, managing directors of PAD and Antwerp port respectively. The main goal of this agreement is to support the development of Douala Port.
According to Cyrus Ngo’o,”this agreement allows us to connect the businesses operating at Antwerp port with those operating at Douala port to let them develop business relation”.
He also revealed that apart from the connection , Douala port wants to tap into the multifaceted experience of older ports such as Antwerp port which is the leading port in Belgium and the second in Europe.
