Louis Paul Motaze sweeps through finance ministry Newly appointed officials to be installed September 25

The Ministry of Finance last week was shaken by massive appointments described by many critics as a tsunami as many workers who had come to the end of their working age in the public service and considered by users as untouchable were sent on retirement or simply transferred to other services.
The newly appointed senior officials of the Ministry of Finance will be commissioned into their new functions on September 25, 2018 during a solemn ceremony at the Yaounde Conference Centre by Finance Minister, Louis Paul Motaze.

The senior officials were appointed last week by the President of the Republic, Paul Biya and by the Prime Minister, Head of Government, Philemon Yang in a move by Minister Louis Paul Motaze to bring in new impetus in the administration.
The Presidential Decree of last September 18, 2018 appointed Zang Martial Valery as President of the Technical Commission for the Rehabilitation of Public and Para-Public Enterprises and Libock Alain Serge as Vice President.
President Biya in a separate Decree also appointed Madam Yecke Endalle Berthe epouse Eko Eko to the post of Inspector General of Financial regime services.
Other appointees by the PM include, Technical Adviser No1, civil administrator Medou Ambella Constant, Technical Adviser No2, Abouem Serge Julien, Technical Adviser No3, Ngole Isaac Richard. Other senior officials were also appointed to the posts of Technical Adviser No4, Inspector of Services,
At the General Secretariat, the communication unit was revamped by Minister Louis Paul Motaze with the appointment of to head the Division of Communication and Public Relations, Assala Jean Irene Yves former Head of the Communication Unit of the former Ministry of Territorial Administration and Decentralization.
