The annual Limbe Festival of Arts and Culture (Limbe Festac), in its 6th edition this 2019, is already promising to produce fireworks, which will certainly make it the best so far.
The event is programme to run from April 6th -13th, in the town of Limbe. So far, organizers have begun holding restricted preparatory meetings, with their main concern to give in their all, to the success of the event this 2019.
Information filtering out of these close door meetings have been in the positive direction, as sources have it that possible sponsors are already showing interest. This indeed is a good sign towards making the 2019 event a real tale of success, as the vision bearer, Government Delegate to the Limbe City Council, Motanga Andrew Monjimba had always worried over the lukewarm attitude of potential sponsors to support the annual cultural jamboree.
Motanga Andrew Monjimba has no doubt welcomed the positive footing of this year’s event, and he is positive that after five years of success (since 2014), Festac 2019 promises to be even better and bigger.

Mobilization has also begun, with organizers hoping to have a massive turnout all through the event, not only reflecting Limbe denizens, but the entire national territory, as well as the international scene.
The Festac fabric, which also gives uniformity to the event and reflects the history and serenity of the town of Limbe is expected in the days ahead. Also, more innovations will be announced in the days ahead, The Sun has learnt.
It should be recalled that the Limbe Festival of Arts and Culture is an exceptional cultural event unique from every other cultural festival in the country, as it cuts across all Cameroon’s ten regions, bringing to light the rich and original cultural diversity of the country. It is a ground which brings all sons and daughters of the nation to express their pride and sense of belonging.
Limbe Festac gives value to the Cameroon culture in its diversity and entirety. It provides an avenue for many to cool off from their daily routines and stress.
Also, it mirrors Africa, through presentations from other countries like Nigeria, Gabon, Equatorial Guinea etc.
Not only culture is celebrated, but beauty, sports, leisure and tourism as well as friendship, love and togetherness.
Many in and out of the town of Limbe are already in wait of the Limbe FESTAC attractions and displays, which usually include such as Miss Limbe Festac, Limbe City Council, Njalla Quan, Marathon, Traditional Wrestling, Tug of War, Canoe race, Boat cruise and a visit to the Bimbia Slave Trade Village, amongst others.
