Presidential hopeful of the Cameroon National Citizens Movement (CNCM), Prophet Franklin Ndifor Afanwi, has called for calm, and decried provocative statements or acts ahead of the anticipated results of the presidential election expected in the days ahead.
Prophet Franklin Ndifor, man of God, break his silence in a press conference in his political headquarters in Bonaberi last Friday October 12 to explain his position amidst rising political tensions caused by claims and counter claims about who is leading in the polls, the visit of the fake Transparency International observers and various complaints of many irregularities expressed by politicians.
The prophet used the moment to call for greater transparency by all the institutions responsible for the counting, compilation, and validation of the results so as not to spark provocations, trouble or anything that will lead to more chaos.

Without mentioning names, Prophet Frank enjoined party leaders, the government and all Cameroonians to exercise restraint because according to him, this is a very delicate chapter in Cameroon’s history, where all socio-economic problems need to be resolved to give peace a chance. He then advised his peers and their followers that they should wait and evaluate the handling of the results before proportionate counters measures can be taken.
“As for me, if everything is done transparently, I will welcome every outcome of the results of the presidential elections as an ambassador of peace”, he said.
The presidential hopeful then added that when men of God like him decide to take part in political activities like this, it means that trouble is at the doorstep of the nation.
