As gunshots and school boycott threats continue to scare students out of the security challenged North West and South West regions of the country, higher education institutions such as one of the oldest in the country, Ndi Samba University in Yaounde, continues to woo more IDPs from these regions with charming academic facilities. It is in this move that the Board Chair, Raymond Ndi Samba in line with the policy of ensuring quality education for all put in place by the late Founding Father of the Ndi Samba School Group and University, has ordered for a 25 to 35% reduction on the school fees for the 2019/2020 academic year.
The Board Chair made the announcement last September 13, 2019 as he chaired the final preparatory meeting with his collaborators in prelude to the kick off of the new academic year slated for September 30, 2019 at their Mvan Tropicana campus.
Speaking at the occasion, he said “the Ndi Samba Foundation in its new look policy of promoting national unity, integration and living together, is this academic year, offering exceptional facilities to all Internally Displaced Persons, IDPs from the troubled North West and South West regions of the country whose education has been on the balance for the past three years due to prolonged socio-political crisis.”
Announcing that training at their university is henceforth placed under the academic supervision of the University of Douala, the Board Chair invited students to turn up en masse this academic year in order to benefit from quality professional-oriented academic programmes.
