The newly dedicated executive of Limbe South Association of Baptist Churches has been commissioned into their functions, with a clarion call for them to think more of others and less of themselves.
The call was made by the Limbe South Association Pastor, Rev. Ngu Gabriel on recently, during the induction ceremony at Ebenezer Baptist Church Down Beach, Limbe. He told them to be servants and not leaders and equally to think about the work they are supposed to do and not what others are doing. Rev. Ngu urged them to think of the ministry as an opportunity for them to serve God and humanity and not as an obligation. The new team was also urged to serve Christians with joy and not grumbling.

On their part, the new executive of Limbe South Association pledged to serve God with all honesty and to shine the light by winning souls for Christ, planting churches, carrying on evangelism among others.
The outgoing executive of the Limbe South Association of Baptist Churches received certificates of recognition and an envelope in appreciation for allowing themselves to be used by God throughout their stay.
In his intervention, Rev. Ewule John, in his message drawn from John 21:15-17, hammered hard on hypocrisy, blackmailing, slandering among others.
Before now, the new Chair, Nche Thomas Njungu Elive was an appointed Dean of Baptist Church Bakingili. He and his team will work for a period of five years. Speaking shortly after his dedication, the Chairman said, “I’m very blessed and pleased that God has actually chosen me and my team to lead this Association for the next five years”.
He said,“Our leadership will be based under Christian missions with emphasis on planting of Churches, spreading of God’s word, evangelism and including social ministry.” He added that he will work directly with the Associate Pastor, so that together they can make the five years mandate a realistic one. The colourful ceremony was attended by the Paramount Chief of Limbe, HM Elufa John Manga Williams, the Chief of Dikolo, HRH Chief Edward Ekomboni, Senior notables of Royal Chiefdom of Limbe, administrators among others.
