Reliable sources have confirmed that MTN Cameroon is soon expected to have Mr. SaimYaksan as the new CEO. He is to replace Mme Philisiwe Sibiya who has been at the helm for some years now.
Before his appointment Mr Saim was incharge of a program called “Ignite”, launched in 2016 within the group, with the objective of improving business and financial performances.
The program which he headed has been found successful in South Africa and Nigeria which possibly suggested to the group’s management that he could better do business in Cameroon.
Saim Yaksan read management studies in the University of Cologne IN Germany, worked at Vodafone for seven years before joining MTN where he has handled different managerial positions in different countries.
