Miss Meveo Cultural and Development Assembly, MEVCUDA 2023 was launched on Saturday, August 26, 2023 at the Limbe City Council Hall Down Beach by the visionary of MEVCUDA HRH Chief Ndiko Fonderson Henry.
Miss MEVCUDA in partnership with Cocowols Entertainment model agency launched activities leading to the second edition of Miss MEVCUDA 2023.
According to the Coordinator of Miss MEVCUDA Yvonne Wole Mojoko the contest has an objective to promote peace and sustainable development. Audition for Miss MEVCUDA 2023 is open to all young girls 18-29 years old irrespective of the tribe, religion and political background.
The auditioning will take place in Yaounde, Douala, Buea and Limbe. Online voting for various contestants will take place on the various social media platforms and the 10 finalists who emerged with the most vote will assemble for group camp in Limbe until grand faunal on Saturday October 21, 2023.
Registration fee is FCFA 5,000 and the winner of Miss MEVCUDA 2023 will bag home the sum of FCFA 1000,000 fully sponsored business, tourism trip overseas and micro project fund among other prizes.
The new Miss MEVCUDA 2023 will takeover from Miss Takang Enanga Tina-Randa who outlined several privileges associated with Miss MEVCUDA like traveling oversea to market the concept of MEVCUDA to its international partners and sponsors.
She promised to work in collaboration with the organizing committee to flatten the hills and fill the valley so that her successor will meet with positivity and great working environment for her assigned duty.
Speaking to the press shortly after the event the vision bearer of MEVCUDA HRH Chief Ndiko Fonderson Henry said the event was to identify the challenges faced last year and try to amend this year. He also stressed that MEVCUDA is not comparing with any other organization butit own self.
HRH Chief Fonderson Henry insists that the major challenge of MEVCUDA is that people misunderstand the MEVCUDA project. He added that Miss MEVCUDA 2023 will be cumulated with the 10th anniversary of the general assembly of MEVCUDA in November 2023.
