The commitment was taken by the production team of this magazine during the anniversary gala organized by Inside Consulting Communication firm last June 1, 2017 at the Yaoundé Hilton Hotel under the theme “Republic, values of peace and work, development, good governance, diplomacy, politics, economy, culture.”
While using the occasion to express gratitude to all those who supported them in the first two trial moments of their production that gave birth to 5 different editions, the publisher of Hommage a La Republique Magazine, Adrien Bonny Eboumbou explained that “our aim of creating this magazine is to show to the world at large that despite any other problem we may be facing, Cameroon still deserves respect and honour when one looks at certain innovations and reforms introduced by patriotic citizens to move the Republic forward.”
Speaking at a press conference granted in prelude to the 2nd anniversary celebration last May 29 at their Nlongkak neighbourhood office, two editors; Serge Mikoli and Lazare Koe and Artistic Director, Elo Martinez all stressed that they are celebrating 2 years at the service of the Republic.
They explained that their magazine handles 7 themes; diplomacy, politics, economy, patriotism that warrants Cameroonians to invest home, society with the show of patriotism despite youth unemployment and difficulties, culture, sports as diplomacy model par excellence and international news.
Declaring that they have cordial relationship with the government, officials of the magazine insisted that “we want through our project to help in the building of a just society and incite the participation of all citizens in national life of our country. That is why we valorize actions of all citizens and not only that of the regime.”
