The Minister of Youth Affairs and Civic Education, Mounouna Foutsou has unveiled innovations for the 59th edition of the celebration of the national Youth Day next February 11, 2025. The Minister made the revelation last January 28, 2025 during a press conference he granted in the Conviviality Hall of the National Museum in Yaounde in the presence of the Secretary General of the Ministry of Communication, Prof Felix Zogo, the Secretary General of the Ministry of Youth Affairs and Civic Education, Zachée Robert Théophile Benga and the Executive President of the National Youth Council, Fadimatou Iyawa Ousmanou.

The Youth Affairs and Civic Education boss launched last February 1, 2025 activities for the 59th edition of the National Youth Day.
Minister Mounouna Foutsou disclosed that “major innovations are the institution of February as the Youth Month, exchanges between youths and members of government organised by sector activity, the organisation of National Youth Camp and Local Camps, the organisation of National and Local Games of Citizenship, the launching of the Special Electoral Education for citizenship and patriotic elections, the organisation of Youth Villages and finally, the reinforcement of decentralisation of the celebration of the National Youth Day in the Diaspora and the national level.”
