The VIP Service Centre of the leader of the telecommunications sector, MTN Cameroon has been inaugurated at the Yaounde Hilton Hotel to ease visitors’ access to state-of-the art digital equipments of MTN Cameroon. The inauguration ceremony was chaired last December 13, 2017 by the Governor of the Centre Region, Naseri Paul Bea in the presence of a powerful top management delegation of MTN Cameroon led by its Chief Executive Officer, CEO, Philisiwe Sibiya.
Speaking at the occasion, the CEO of MTN Cameroon, Philisiwe Sibiya said the presence of the governor to chair the occasion is testimony that government attaches importance to public-private partnership to enhance development and recognition of MTN’s efforts to drive the local telecom market and revolutionalise communication in Cameroon for the benefit of millions of people.
She disclosed that the Hilton Hotel VIP Service Centre is the 2nd fully digital service centre after the one in Douala of MTN Cameroon with touch sensitive and connected screens.
The CEO further explained that this new centre brings to 12 the number of new proximity Service Centres created in five regions of Cameroon since the company launched service centres inaugurations in 2013.
“This is testimony of our unrelenting commitment to accompany our customers everywhere they go in their quest to connect to the rest of the world and remain competitive.” Said, the MTN Cameroon boss.
While reassuring that at MTN, customers are kings, Philisiwe Sibiya invited the population to benefit from the uniqueness of the new centre thanks to the availability of MTN Business point to facilitate access to ICT, Cloud, ISP, hosted services, data, mobile money, prepaid, postpaid and dealer sales services in addition to next generation experimental services such as Gaming, Video Streaming, Touch and Trial and self service stations.
In his inaugural speech, the Centre Regional Governor, Naseri Paul Bea expressed administrative gratitude to MTN Cameroon for its broad network, affordable services to the population of his region and its citizenship based cooperation seen in assistance granted the government and the population.
He expressed the hope to see the new centre helps in decongesting other centres in the centre region.
