Bishop Bushu’s Christian life reviewed at book launch

The Christian life and character of his Lordship Immanuel Bushu Bishop of the he Buea Diocese has been reviewed by parishioners of the Buea Diocese from all walks of life in the South West Region.
This was during a lunching ceremony of his biography titled “Bishop Bushu and the Diocese of Buea”, which took place on Thursday February 1, 2018 at Holiday Inn Resort, Limbe.


The highly colourful book structured in eight chapters and 151 pages of the profile of the Bishop is written by Rev. Father Emile Tanka Tabi a priest serving at Our lady of Lourdes Parish, Gardens, Limbe.
Speaking at the book launch, Prof. Victor Julius Ngoh said they were baffled by the Christ like character of Bishop Immanuel Bushu whose person is that of Christ. And it’s written on page 70 of the book that, he is an honest man, humble and simple.
According to Rev. Father Emile Tanka Tabi, Bishop Bushu is humble enough to obey everyone, fears to offend everyone and does not bear a grudge. He is a happy person and has great peace of mind.
Those who took part at the book lauch including Fr. John Rauch Baba, Dr. Yenwo Molo Godfred, Dr. Amungwa Athanasius Fonteh and host of others confirmed that the book is a good piece of research and biography of a warm genuine prelate written by a prolific writer Rev. Father Emile Tanka Tabi which is worth reading.
They called on other aspiring writers to emulate the good example and write biographies on other prelates like Cardinal Christian Tumi, Late Bishop Pius Awa of blessed memory among others.
