UBA Cameroon exhorts microfinance partners to remain steadfast

The Deputy Managing Director of United Bank for Africa Cameroon has exhorted microfinance executive to remainsteadfast in their mutually beneficial relationships with UBA Cameroon.
Mme Marguerite Atanga made this clear at a joint session last Thursday, August 9 at the UBA headquarter precincts, with 56 microfinance partners who, for the past couple of year have been very collaborative especially in the sales and marketing ofvisa prepaid cards.In the same equation, the co-branded card partners used this platform to share best practices, train on some innovations in the financial sector, propose solutions or resolve issues.
The DMD of UBA Cameroon who went on the reassure partners that UBA is determined to satisfy it’s partners and customers declared, “The raison d’etre of this get together therefore is to exchange ideas on how to move the business forward and make it profitable for both parties. ”
Mme Marguerite Atanga who said that this new era of openness and a close collaborative spirit were necessary yardsticks for the success of their partnerships, told microfinance stakeholders that the bank’s new found relationships is part of UBA’s commitment to provide banking services to people from all works of life.
Presentations on different aspects of the partnerships including new solutions intended to improve relationships with microfinance partners, were projected by the Digital Banking Sales team led by Didier Gnahoua UBA CEMAC, Regional Head Digital Banking Sales, the Risk, Retail and Transactions Banking and MCC units. Reactions of these presentations during the interactive session that followed, generated lots of questions, clarifications, comments, suggestions and initiatives from actors.
