Prof Ngolle Ngolle Elvis, Campaign member for Paul Biya, presidential candidate
Well as a militant at the CPDM, my reaction is that of immediate joy and very satisfied that our candidate was retained by ELECAM indicating that the file was correct and the law respected because our party is a law abiding one. But in this happiness, we are actually not surprise because we knew that our candidate has the qualities to be the President of Cameroon and to continue leading us and that he is respectful and sensitive enough to the laws, respects the
institutions, he is driven by the sense of republican values and in the republican spirit we have never harboured doubts his candidacy will be retained. As the people’s party at their service, the CPDM has always been at work with the SG of the Central Committee coordinating meetings not waiting on ELECAM to approve the file first. He is holding consultation, evaluation and strategy meetings with all the operational managers. The CPDM has always been at work, is at work and will continue to be at work to make sure that come October 7, the CPDM wins. The SG has advised and given instructions that the CPDM campaign should be a republican, democratic, cautious and people oriented one, void of any provocation and respecting the laws and institutions.
