“To enjoy good food and good health, we must protect our biodiversity by all means. Because biodiversity is our life, our food and our health, we ought to consequently fight for its protection. For the past years, it is estimated that with the anarchical exploitation of biodiversity, several species are being extinguished in the world. We have a vital obligation to protect biodiversity by avoiding destruction. All what we have here on earth comes from biodiversity which stands on three pillars; conservation, sustainable management and sharing biodiversity products among ourselves. The key message we are passing across to people is that if we want to live long on earth, we must protect our biodiversity from destruction”, the Minister explained.
The ceremony, spiced by food exhibition was attended by the Minister of Forestry and Wildlife, Jules Doreth Ndongo, the Secretary General of the Ministry of Higher Education, Prof Wilfred Gabsa and other top personalities.
