Newly promoted soldiers in Limbe have been instructed to combat criminals and separatists whose sole aim is to destabilise the territorial integrity of the nation.
The call was made by the Senior Divisional Officer for Fako, Engamba Emmanuel Ledoux, as he presided over the epaulette award ceremony of newly promoted military officers, following presidential decree No. 67618/12/2019 promoting military officers. The colorful ceremony took place last January 1, 2020 at the Manga Williams Avenue.
Among those promoted were two Knights of the Cameroon order of merit, 152 sub officers, nine officers, 13 Military officers, three rank and file officers, 12 senior officers.
The event was graced with a military parade and also witnessed the presence of the Government Delegate to the Limbe City Council, the commander of Naval Base, Divisional Officers of Limbe I, II and III, Mayors of Limbe I, II and III subdivisions, family members and friends among others.
