Some 87 Cameroonian refugees and ex-fighters based in Nigeria, The SUN gathered, arrived Cameroon from Abuja-Nigeria on Tuesday, December 31, 2019 just after midday. They are said to have touched down the tar mark of the Nsimalen international airport at 12:45 pm Tuesday.
According to reports, they constitute the first contingent of 700 refugees who have expressed their willingness to return home after they fled the country as a result of the Anglophone crisis.
The SUN equally gathered that upon their arrival at the airport, they were received by four government ministers led by the Minister of Territorial Administration, Minister Paul Atanga Nji.
