The Senior Divisional Officer for Fako Engamba Emmanuel Ledoux has convened an extraordinary session of the Limbe City Council on Wednesday, March 2, 2022 to elect a new City Mayor.
The SDO’s invitation letter to mayors, deputy mayors, councillors and Fako East MPs is dated 25th February, 2022 but curiously didn’t go public till Monday, February 28.
March 2, shall be exactly 56 days since the first City Mayor Motanga Andrew Monjimba passed on that is January 5, 2022 and well within the 60 days given by law for a new city mayor to be elected.
