SG at SW Governor’s office applauds Black & White Complex for investing in tourism

The Secretary General at the South West Governor’s office Acha Gilbert Nkwenti has applauded the promoters of the new Black and White leisure complex for investing in tourism and leisure in Limbe which will boost Limbe’s tourism hub.

He was speaking on Friday, June 16, 2023 during the official launching of Black and White Complex (Bar-Restau-Lounge-club)

Acha Gilbert urged the proprietors of Black and White to employ qualify workers with good background in hospitality management in order to assure the quality of customer service which is a major challenge in the tourism sector.

“As you all know, the Government of Cameroon considers the leisure and tourism sector as a top priority that is why it has been very active in ensuring the development of the tourism sector in the country as well as assisting and encouraging the actors” Acha Gilbert said.

He assured Black and White that the administration of the South West Region will always be available and ready to provide the necessary support needed.

The complex, whichis owned a business tycon Mr. Conrad Maya, is a multi million project with state-of-the-art facilities and services to guarantee users a breathtaking experience as far as comfort and relaxation is concerned.

According to the Promoter, Conrad Maya the project had an execution period of two years during which many youths gained temporal employment, and today it is offering permanent jobs to some 60 Yong male and female Cameroonians.

Conrad Maya added that with the coming of this topnotch facility Black and White it will mark a new era in the domain of tourism and hospitality in the city of Limbe.

The representative of the Limbe City Mayor the Second Deputy City Mayor of the Limbe City Council Mr. Kountchou Emmanuel applauded the great breakthrough of the promoter and advanced that this was the type of mega buildings which the City needs.

Mr. Kountchou Emmanuel equally invited the population of the municipality and beyond to make good use of this jewel for its standard is one which only a few cities in Cameroon can boost of. He thereby challenged other investors and business giants within Limbe to emulate such projects and make Limbe continue to stamp its mark as the most trusted tourist and enjoyment destination.

The official opening ceremony later gave way to an electrical musically animated show in the evening with 2 guest stars namely veteran music sensation Ben Deca and young outstanding female artist Kameni
