African Entrepreneurs to benefit from Tony Elumelu Foundation 2024 ENTREPR

According to a read-out from the communication department of the United Bank for Africa (UBA) Cameroon, the Tony Elumelu Foundation (TEF) is anxiously seeking the participation, of African entrepreneurs seeking to turn their business dreams into reality to apply to the TEF entrepreneurship programme (TEF 2024) and become part of those to benefit from a non-refundable seed capital of U.S dollars 5.000 in the 54 African countries of the continent.

Started in 2015, the programme has attained world-wide recognition and impacting strongly on the Africa economic and social fabric and promoting women entrepreneurship which has been a focus for concern for several decades. It has attracted international and regional partnerships and collaboration across the globe.

Since then, our outlet says, TEF entrepreneurship programme has trained and mentored over 1.5 million young Africans on its digital hub TEFconnect and disbursed over U.S Dollars 100 million in direct funding to 18.000 men and women, 700 Cameroonian in particular, who have collectively created over 400.000 direct and indirect jobs.

The foundation’s mission is said to be rooted in Afri-capitalism which positions the private sectors and most importantly entrepreneurs as the catalyst for the social and economic development of the African content. Go to their websites for subscriptions ending March I 2024. In order to reinforce the programme on fragile states focusing on women, the Coalition for Africa Entrepreneurs will soon be launched. This programme is envisaged to support 100.000 young African entrepreneurs including 50.000 women by 2033.
