The SUN has gathered that the Ayah Foundation is suing a certain Nkongho Success for defamation. The said Nkongho Success is a former activist of the ‘Ambazonia’ cause.
According to reports, the president of Ayah Foundation, Ayah Ayah Abine disclosed recently that the foundation’s complaint shall prompt an investigation by court, in line with a public accusation made by Nkongho, by which he states that the Foundation imports arms for separatist fighters.
Ayah Ayah Abine while maintaining that they remain ready to show how clean their hands are, vehemently urged all security services in Cameroon to probe thoroughly into the allegation, and get the accuser provide solid evidence to his claim. According to him, the allegation is false and only a ploy by their detractors to destroy the image of the Foundation that is highly respected internationally.
The Ayah Foundation has been attending to some of the needs of suffering victims of the Anglophone brouhaha in Cameroon, since the unfortunate situation broke out.
