CAMTEL GM takes steps to ensure unabated internet during national dialogue

The General Manager of Cameroon Telecommunications Network, CAMTEL, Judith Yah Sunday Achidi is putting hands on deck to ensure that there is access to internet to the over 400 delegates that will be converging on Yaoundé Conference Centre, today September 30 to October 4, 2019, for the major national dialogue convene last September 10 by President Paul Biya.

Haven sent technicians to the site to carry out major installations that will ensure quality internet service to all delegates and the population of Cameroon, Judith Yah, last September 25, 2019, visited the centre to monitor, follow up and ensure that technicians earlier deployed to the site were doing what is expected of them.
The CAMTEL boss visited the conference room, press room, technical secretariat and the infrastructure control room, and was visibly satisfied with the immense work done by his employees; several innovative phone lines, creative and adapted telecom solutions were set up.
This move by the GM is geared towards ensuring that all Cameroonians from North to South, East to West to participate in the dialogue, considered very dear to the Head of State, His Excellency Paul Biya, have the best of internet facilities.
The GM was received by the Deputy Director General of the Conference Centre, Mboya Mbangue. CAMTEL is the leading telecommunications in Cameroon with 12 km linear of optical fiber already laid throughout the national territory, thanks to the support of the government.
