A cement truck belonging to Dangote Construction Company is reported to have crushed at the Bocom petroleum station in Mile II Limbe, on Thursday, June 6, 2019.
According to reports, no human casualty was recorded, but other vehicles stationed at Bocom were crushed, and the cement truck damaged beyond repairs.
The people of mile II in Limbe rushed to the incident site with bags and buckets to collect the spilled over cement. At press time, the truck driver and his assistant were responding to treatment in the hospital.
It should be noted that this is not the first time such an incident is occurring along the same stretch of road. Pundits have called on authorities to construct speed breaks around the area to avoid any further accidents.
