Members of the Christian Men’s Fellowship (CMF) of the Presbyterian Church in Cameroon have re-elected Ayuk Richard Mbui to pilot their affairs in the Molyko Congregation for the next five years. The elections were conducted Thursday April 25, 2019 by Rev. Mrs. Geraldine Fobang in lieu of the Parish Pastor.
In the elections described by all as free, fair, transparent and credible, members of CMF Molyko overwhelmingly renewed their confidence in Brother Ayuk Richard Mbui for his second and last term as President of the movement. The elections were observed by members of the executive committee of the CMF for the Fako North Presbytery.
Dr. John Tenneng was elected as Vice President, while Kotti Theophilus grabbed the post of Secretary General. The coveted office of Evangelism Secretary went to Dr. Nyongbela Kennedy.

The following were also elected: Manoji Benedict as Vice Secretary General, Tanyi Robert as Vice Evangelism Secretary, Samkea Ferdinand as Financial Secretary, Shey Edwin as Treasurer, Mafany Mofeke as Social I, Aku Solo as Social II, Makia Defang as Songs Secretary I, Nebabesi George as Songs Secretary II, Acham John as Songs Secretary III, Tarchot Edwin as Sports Secretary, Ngole Hansel as Discipline Secretary I and Ngwa Festus as Discipline Secretary II.
Shortly after his re-election, Brother Ayuk Richard Mbui told the press that his mission for the next five years will be to take CMF Molyko to the next level in her relationship with God.
“My vision for the second mandate is to deepen the spiritual life of members, win more souls for God’s work and improve our relationship with sister groups,” he said.
Given the current social and humanitarian situation in the community, the newly elected CMF Molyko President says they will emphasize on the virtues of giving both to the church and the society, especially to the needy and have-nots.
It was during Ayuk’s first mandate that CMF Molyko celebrated her 20th anniversary on Sunday September 28, 2014 in the presence of the Very Rev. Festus Ambe Asana, PCC Moderator at the time.
In his homily on the occasion, Dr. Ambe Asana drew inspiration from 1st Peter 5, 5-11 to echo the Lord’s admonition that “God opposes the proud but gives grace to the humble” and dwelled on the theme, “God, Humility and Anxiety”.
It is with this spirit of humility that CMF Molyko went on to win many Presbytery and Regional awards and will for the next five years strive to win the national award, said Ayuk.
CMF Molyko took off in 1994 with 20 members and has since grown in membership with about 200 committed members to her credit.
It should be noted that Sister Achem Rose was elected Thursday as the President of the Christian Women’s Fellowship (CWF) Molyko. She takes over from Sister Ashu Frida who came to the end of her second 5-year term at the helm of the movement.
