CSPH GM transmits Biya’s instructions for steady supply of petroleum products

Cameroonians will spend the end of year period without any scarcity in the supply of petroleum products in the country following the recent transmission of President Paul Biya’s instructions by the Director General of the Hydrocarbons Prices Stabilization Fund better known by its french acronym CSPH, Okie Johnson Ndoh to tenders. These instructions for the steady supply of petroleum products in Cameroon during this end of year festive period were given by the Hydrocarbons Prices Stabilization Fund, CSPH boss, during a meeting with importers of petroleum products recently, at the Head Office of the institution in Yaounde.

Chaired by the General Manager of the Hydrocarbons Prices Stabilization Fund, CSPH, Okie Johnson Ndoh, the meeting was attended by all the tenders.

The meeting for the counting, analysis of offers and award of lots to the various tenders organised by the Department of Follow-up, Studies and Petroleum Statistics at the CSPH was attended by Directors, Sub Directors, Chiefs of Service, officials from the Ministry of Energy and Water Resources, the National Oil Refinery, SONARA, the Ministry of Trade, marketers, importers and representatives of structures.

The General Manager of the Hydrocarbons Prices Stabilization Fund invited participants to be transparent and respect their commitment with the State when it comes to the supply of the national market in petroleum products.

The representative of the General Manager of Cameroon Petroleum Depot Company briefed members on the situation of petroleum stocks at the moment.

The Director of Follow Up, Studies and Petroleum Statistics at the Hydrocarbons Prices Stabilization Fund, Waziri Hassan gave a brief resume of the different meetings relating to the call for tenders to make sure that everybody is at the same level with the information.

The Jury is made up of the GM of the CSPH, Director of Follow Up, Studies and Petroleum Statistics, Director of Petroleum Products and Gaz and representatives of the Ministries of Water Resources and Energy and Trade.

The documents comprise amongst others of NSIF document, Bank caution, submission attestation, registration to the national file of importers etc.

The meeting ended at 5pm and the rendezvous was taken for a future date in order to know the publication of the official lists of winners of the contracts.
