A supposed separatist fighter by name Tem Justice has been apprehended by elements of the State Security Force. Tem, possibly in his thirties met doom recently when he attempted robbing a pastor, around Mile 2. The hoodlum, after successfully squeezing out FCFA 25,000 from a certain woman, proceeded to demand FCFA 50,000 from the pastor, while parading his self as a separatist fighter (Amba). Unfortunately for him, the Pastor refused to be intimidated and instead held tight Tem, while raising an alarm. Tem was later taken by the military who put him under duress to tell from which end he was fighting the so-called “liberation struggle”.

Tem Justice, pleading for mercy after posing as “Amba”

In the state of discomfort, Tem refuted having any links with separatists, saying he only engaged the act to make some quick cash. An origin of the Northwest Region of Cameroon but born and breed in Muyuka, Southwest Region, Tem said “I have never killed before. You can get to anyone based in Muyuka and ask whether I am a separatist fighter, they will tell you I am not because truly I am not. I only lied to that man (pastor) because I wanted to take money from him”, he said.

He mentioned that he was part of a group of three with two others based in Mutengene, by names Moses and Eyong.

In distress, Tem requested that “As I am here right now, I know this is the end for me. I just plead to whoever can hear my voice that my child is in Idenau; he is with a friend of mine for about two months when I left him there to go hustling. He is there without the knowledge of my relatives. Please, anyone who can hear me should please take my son to my siblings”, he appealed.

Threats, killings, stealing, kidnappings and destructions have been the face of the armed tensions in the Northwest and Southwest regions of Cameroon in the last seven years. The tensions spilled out after lawyers and teachers of the two english-speaking parts of Cameroon took to the streets to demand for their rights in late 2016. Shortly after then, other leaders with diverse convictions bought the purpose and the tale is currently a sad story for the ordinary Cameroonian.
