It has been reported that a driver plying the Kumba-Mundemba road whose name The SUN got as Joseph Masso committed suicide a day after he survived a road accident.
Our source narrates that the deceased, a popular driver along the Kumba-Mundemba road and a member of the Mbonge Road Axis Drivers Union, MIRADU, survived a road accident on Friday August 31.
Out of excitement, he organized a heavy feast and celebrated with his friends and colleagues of the union that same day. He was later found dead after committing suicide on Saturday September 1st at their farmland in Mile One Kumba. His lifeless body was then buried the next day.
Though no one could ascertain the reason why he committed suicide, rumour circulating in town associated the act to rituals. Joseph Masso leaves behind two wives, five children, colleagues and friends to mourn him.
