The newly graduated batch of ESSEC-Douala, have been encouraged to be pacesetters and bring innovations for development of the country.
This was echoed by the Minister Delegate at the Ministry of Transport,MefiroOumarou, as hechaired the graduation ceremony of 150 laureates of the 19th batch of the institution, on March 22.
Minister Oumarou said the graduates should do well toput into practice all what they received during their training, which will go to make them innovators and improve their performance.
Vice Chancellor of the University of Douala, Prof. François Xavier Etoa, enjoinedthe laureates to uphold the spirit of integrity, rigor and humility, which will enable them to be excellent innovators.
EdwigeDamen, batch leader, congratulated the institution’s authorities and said the batch is greatly satisfaction vis-à-vis the quality and relevance of their training.
He explained that “Throughout our training, we were equipped with skills on digitisation and how to apply them in our various specialisations. We received the techniques necessary for us to meet up with contemporary professional standards”, he said and continued that The MBA program has made them to become the ‘chief cornerstone’ in the management of enterprises.’
Many other graduates who spoke to The SUN held a similar view.
