German Cooperation offers business contact opportunities to over 50 enterprises

The German Cooperation better known as GIZ has offered over 50 enterprises in the domains of rural development, Information and Communication Technology, ICT, construction and renewable energies exposure opportunities and possibility to enlarge their business contacts at the International Exhibition for Small and Medium Size Enterprises and Partners of Yaounde dubbed Promote 2019.
Their vast exhibition stands in Hall 5 at Promote was opened with a press conference to situate the participation of enterprises from Morocco and Germany thanks to GIZ last February 18, 2019, granted by the Resident Director of GIZ, Carola Jacobi-Sambou flanked by the Technical Adviser for Migration Programme for Development (PMD), Andre Kounchou Feze and the Chief Executive Officer of ISNOV, Honore Tiako.

Enterprises in the domains of Information and Communication Technologies, rural development, renewable energy, local transformation of fruit juice,
Talking to The SUN, Technical Adviser for Migration Programme for Development, Andre Kounchou Feze explained that “GIZ is here to promote those partners and enterprises which we have been supporting or working with. A major GIZ programme such as Migration for Development has brought about 30 enterprises alone. It is a global one operating in more than 25 countries worldwide.”
He expressed the wish that Promote 2019 offers the companies opportunities to make money, expand their businesses, create jobs for Cameroonians and participate in development thanks to the GIZ.
GIZ pavilion at Promote 2019 was marked by several sessions of thematic days with different topics linked to the various sectors being exhibited.
Migration for Development Progamme is one of several key programmes which GIZ implements in partner countries. It has one component where GIZ tries to assist Diaspora of different countries in Germany to set up their own businesses in their countries of origin. GIZ equally facilitates their way of implementing their own business ideas in Germany through coaching etc.
