The armed conflict in the two English-speaking Regions of Cameroon is still ongoing, many are still being tortured, kidnapped, killed.
As the armed conflict rages on, the government has resorted to increased accusations, arrests, torture and jailing of many civilians for helping the separatists sustain their fight against defense and security forces.
Government’s frustration over its inability to crackdown separatists; civilians living in these two Regions have constantly been arbitrarily arrested and detained with impunity and without due process.
Yesterday, separatist fighters stormed a neighbourhood in Muyuka, shot and killed a native called Mr. Anthony Nganje popularly known as “Mola Anthon”, setting his home ablaze in search of his niece, Nina Enanga, whose whereabouts is unknown.
A seamstress by profession, Nina Enanga is said to be 29 years old and a mother of one child.
The killing is reported to have taken place on May 17, 2022.
It is also reported that Nina Enanga was amongst those arbitrarily arrested and detained at the Muyuka police station, days ago for allegedly linked to the separatist fighters the government has been fighting since 2017 till date.
Some of those, including Nina, who were arbitrarily arrested and detained, are reported to have fled under very unclear circumstances, leading to a manhunt by the government making them wanted.
