Laurent Esso celebrates female collaborators on International Women’s Day

Efforts deployed by women and other collaborators of the Ministry of Justice at the service of the state and the population have been celebrated by the Minister of State, Minister of Justice and Keeper of the Seals, Laurent Esso. They were celebrated last March 8, 2018 within the framework of activities organized to mark the 33rd edition of the International Women’s Day under the theme “intensify the fight against discriminations towards women; reinforce partnership to accelerate sustainable development.”
In recognition of their contribution to nation building, Minister of State, Laurent Esso offered his female collaborators a special reception.

After demonstrating their prowess alongside other women at the May 20 Boulevard in Yaounde in front of Cameroon’s First Lady, Mrs Chantal Biya, women of the Ministry of Justice as tradition entails converged at their Ministry immediately after the march pass to commune and socialize with their hierarchy.
In a very convivial manner, the women from the Ministry of Justice, the judiciary corps (the Supreme Court, administrative courts, courts of appeal) and the penitentiary administration shared good moments with their hierarchies.
Reading the women’s speech on the occasion, their spokesperson, Madam Ossoko Sandrine Ekani who is a Translator at the Ministry of Justice expressed gratitude to the Minister of State, Laurent Esso, Minister Delegate to the Minister of Justice, Jean Pierre Fogui and the Secretary of State in charge of Penitentiary Administration, Doh Jerome for their constant support and solicitude towards women.
Expressing their joy, Madam Ossoko Sandrine Ekani said “Here we are again on the 8th of March, a day devoted to women of the world, all of them, without any discrimination. A day eagerly awaited by women of the Ministry of Justice, not only to share a great moment of conviviality with the hierarchy, but also to express their gratitude for the solicitude always shown on various occasions and especially on the commemoration of the International Women’s Day.”
The celebration equally featured the decoration of hardworking women and men with medals by Minister of State, Laurent Esso.
