Limbe denizens express frustration

Life in the city of Limbe, South West Region of Cameroon has not been a pleasant one for over two weeks now. While the city has been commended for being a safe haven in a turbulent NW/SW in the face of the Anglophone crisis, the recent frequent electricity seizures and most recently the coronavirus alarm is making life a living hell for most denizens.
The SUN sampled the opinions of some Limbe City dwellers and one is quoted as saying “I am very worried with the crisis which is going on for four years. It has affected everybody; the economy is grounded; people are dying; we just pray for a solution.”
On the aspect of Coronavirus, COVID-19, another city dweller by name Ayuk Oben says “Only God can intervene.”
On his part, a teacher by name Anu George advised that people should take special safe measures and respect basic hygiene of washing their hands, while applauding the government of the measures taken to prevent the virus. He however lamented the epileptic electricity supply by Eneo, saying that people have suffered so much and the worst thing is that the bill that is being issued cannot reflect what people have consumed. “I think they’re joking with people’s lives and businesses in this country; if the company is unable to manage issues of electricity, I think the government should look for a better company”, Anu George stated.
HRH Motia Mathias Motia of Livanda village lamented that the crisis which is in the fourth year now running has grounded the economy but prays the crisis is resolved soon.
