- Lion Tech job creation and innovation Center launched
- CEO Elvis Lavert encourages digital skills empowerment, business transformation and innovation using technology

Bringing together tech entrepreneurs, industry leaders, investors, micro projects and learners from across the globe, the Lion Tech Solutions and Academy has organized a two-day conference with focus on digitalization, innovation, exhibition and job creation.
From Friday March 22 to March 24 2024, participants at the conference were drilled on employment opportunities in the tech industry, entrepreneurship support, innovation hub for start-ups, driving economic growth and creating jobs in Cameroon, skill development programs, grants and funding etc.
The conference which was characterized by tech demonstrations, panel discussions, keynote presentations, networking opportunities, a career fair amongst others equally witnessed the unveiling of Lion Tech Innovations and Job Creation Center, job placement opportunities in Cameroon and abroad, business innovations, network with industry experts etc.
The CEO of Lion Tech Solutions, Elvis Lavert talking to the press after the successful conference noted that the “objective of the conference is to lay down the foundation for the Lion Tech Job Creation and Innovation Center. It’s going to be a platform where our young people can start getting engaged with career mentorships, career counseling and others. The goal of this center is to export Cameroonian talent as we are a potential source of tech labour. The world is becoming a tech village where we have tech giants. We want to be able to put Cameroonians at that level where they become a potential tech source and that has to start with training. We are looking at digital skills empowerment, business transformation and innovation using technology” he averred.
The CEO added that the Lion Tech Solutions has come to stay and make their impact felt in Cameroon. “My targets for this conference are my brothers who have dropped out of school, unemployed and the youths in general. I believe that the outcome of this conference will enable us lay a foundation for that mentorship and coaching to get them into those skills that can transform their minds to become globally competitive”. He encouraged the participants to believe in themselves, take away fear, believe that they can be empowered and believe that education was not meant to keep them in captivity and poverty.
