The Minister of Youth Affairs and Civic Education, Mounouna Foutsou inaugurated last October 26, 2023 a reference operational centre dedicated to the National Programme of Education by Moral, Civil and Entrepreneurial Rearmament, PRONEC REAMORCE. The Minister equally used the occasion to install into their new functions, recently appointed Head of the Centre and managers of the PRONEC REAMORCE in the presence of the Minister of Women Empowerment and the Family, Prof Marie Therese Ondoa.
Inaugurating the centre, the Youth Affairs and Civic Education boss said ‘‘PRONEC REAMORCE which he signed last February 24, 2023 explains that it is a legal instrument for civic, moral and entrepreneurial education adapted to the current needs of all walks of the population with the aim of promoting peace, social cohesion and coexistence.’’
He said the programme’s role is to contribute as in a military barracks to the transmission of republican, ethical and moral values to Cameroonians of all sides and from different sectors.
This complex capable of welcoming up to 200 people has a total area of 315m2, consisting of 12 rooms, 12 conference halls and 12 verandas.
To materialize the will to lead young people to becoming model citizens, partnership agreements were sign between the PRONEC-REAMORCE and three institutions, the Binguela Practicing School of Agriculture, the Top Chef Professional Academy of Nkolnda and the Leadership Group of Bene.
The agreements were signed as a means to welcome young people mobilized each of these partners in order to re-start.
