New appointments at CRTV

There have been new appointments at the Cameroon Radio Television, CRTV, following a June 22, 2018 extra-ordinary session of the corporation. The session that came on the heels of an ordinary session empowered the presiding Board Chair, Minister of Communication, Issa Tchiroma Bakary, to proceed with appointments and redeployments of officials in CRTV as part of the resolutions taken.
Those appointed were installed on Saturday, June 24 by CRTV General Manager, Charles Ndongo.

“I lack words to express my emotions. I am surprised and deeply grateful for this mark of confidence. I am not oblivious of my new challenge at this challenging moment in the life of our nation. I imagine the expectations of those who appointed me and those of our people. Thank you for words of love and encouragement. Remember that I’m my own man, with my own convictions and my own way of doing things. Pray for me because I need Jehovah more than ever,” Albert Njie Mbonde said shortly after receiving news of his appointment as Political Desk Editor at the national broadcaster.
Those appointed and redeployed include:
– George Ewane – Adviser No. 4 to the General Manager of CRTV
– Simon Lyonga – Head of CRTV Sports and Entertainment Channel
– Ashu Nyenty – Deputy Presidential Affairs correspondent
– Albert Njie Mbonde – Political Desk Editor, CRTV Radio
– Benen Buma Gana – Editor in Chief, CRTV News
– Melvis Kimbi Lu – head of CRTV web content
– Ngalla Killian Chimtom – Economic Desk Editor, CRTV Radio
– Charles Ebune – Head of diplomatic missions.
