According to information gathered from a press release procured by the SUN, it has been observed that rapid changes are on-going at the hierarchy of Nestlé Group’s subsidiary in Cameroun.
It is not long ago that we were presented the American Tom Caso as the CEO of Nestlé Cameroon and he is now being replaced by another.
The man presently at the helm of Nestlé Cameroon is called Robert Helou, who prior to his new appointment, was the head of sales for Nestlé Saudi Arabia. Robert, as he is fondly called, started effective work on March I and he was charged with the responsibility of “consolidating the company’s leading position in the food and beverages sector in the Central African sub-region.
Robert’s responsibilities go beyond Cameroon. He is expected to run the affairs across Central Africa in countries such as Gabon, Chad, Central African Republic the two Congos, Equatorial Guinea and Sao Tome and Principe which falls within parts of West and Central Africa regional clusters and is among one of Nestlé’s top 20 key markets worldwide. Welcome Robert. He is said to have garnered a wealth of experience in sales and is said to bag an MBA in Business Administration from the University of Quebec, Montreal Canada.
Mr Robert Helou is said to have expressed his happiness to be here. “I am very pleased with this opportunity to pursue Nestle’s mission which is about enhancing the quality of life and contributing to a healthier future for individuals and families in Central Africa. I have the firm ambition to contribute to the socio-economic development of Cameroon and the sub-region through the acceleration of Nestle’s growth while respecting employees, society, diversity, and the future”, declared Robert. Tom Caso is reported to have been promoted.
