Comedian, Christian Best fondly called Senior Pastor and a group of his comedian friends will be taking their talents to the Buea Central Prison on Wednesday March 8 to entertain the prisoners and give back to society.
Ahead of the March 8 show, there will be an auditioning on February 28 at the prison to fish out budding talents inside the prison.

The inmates who will be selected shall win prizes and perform alongside the visiting comedians on the day of the final show.
“It will be a rare opportunity for us to take the show to the prison in order to make the inmates laugh and reduce their depression and sorrows and, above all, give them hope, since these inmates may not be able to come to our shows outside.” Senior Pastor told The SUN.
Senior Pastor mentioned O’boy da Comic, Big Mami Agatha, FM Bazor amongst the many comedians expected to perform at the show.
.”We believe it will serve as a platform for us to give back to the needy and perform live inside the prison so the inmates can witness the live band” Senior Pastor added.
According to Senior Pastor, the Laughing Ministry is a nonprofit association of young and dynamic comedians with a mission to make the world a better place through laughter.
He added that the comedy team has been on for four years and has been holding several comedy outreach programs and shows. A recent comedy show saw the participation of international talents like Gordons and Akpororo from Nigeria.
Senior Pastor is very optimistic about the Cameroon comedy industry. He believes despite the fact that the industry is not up to the standards of the Nigerian industry yet, they are making a lot of progress at a faster pace.
He encourages the public and the government to support the industry more which has become an avenue for self employment for many talented youths.
