The General Director of Source du Pays SA expressed his joy on the occasion of the ceremony of awarding medals of honor for work to 217 staff of the company for which he has heavy responsibility, on April 5, 2024 in Douala by the Cameroonian Minister of Labor and Social Security, Grégoire Owona.
This is the very first presentation of medals of honor to employees of this company created in 1984. Source du Pays ceased its activities in 2005 before being taken over in 2010 by the El Sahely Group .
“ This recovery was accompanied by a total overhaul of the production tool, buildings, logistics and products. Our main activity is the production and distribution of natural mineral water, soft drinks, energy drinks and natural juices ,” recalls Mohamad El Sahely.
According to its boss, Source du Pays employs around 1,725 people, including 39 executives, 305 supervisors and 1,381 specialized employees. “ Our employees are all affiliated with the CNPS and benefit from a supplementary pension, health insurance currently being finalized, and other bonuses ,” he reassures, without providing details on turnover. of the company.
Established in several regions of Cameroon, namely Littoral, Center, West, North, Far North and Adamaoua, the company which is celebrating its 40 years of existence is in the process of building “ a new modern factory in the Central region, with the creation of around 1,850 new jobs for young graduates and women ”, aims top management.
For Mohamad El Sahely, the medals of honor award ceremony chaired by Grégoire Owona is a mark of support and accompaniment of the government of the Republic of Cameroon in their activities. “ This is a real mark of recognition towards our employees who have distinguished themselves by their dedication, seriousness and loyalty ,” he concludes.
