Strengthening media ties: CAMASEJ Limbe Chapter meets with Limbe Paramount Ruler

Last December 4, 2025, the Paramount Ruler of Limbe, HM Ikanea John Elufa Manga Williams, hosted executive members of the Cameroon Association of English Speaking Journalists, CAMASEJ Limbe Chapter at his palace in Mbonjo. The visit aimed to strengthen ties between CAMASEJ Limbe and the Limbe Paramount Chiefdom.

During the meeting, Chapter President, Zita Aliah emphasised the importance of fostering a respectful, professional, and transparent working relationship between CAMASEJ Limbe and the Limbe Paramount Stool. She expressed gratitude for the warm reception and acknowledged the Royal Father’s dedication to transforming the traditional institution.

HM John Manga Williams congratulated the new CAMASEJ Limbe leadership and reaffirmed his commitment to a cordial working relationship with the association. He described the media as indispensable partners in any organisation’s success and expressed optimism in the new team’s ability to uphold high ethical standards and lead the association towards professionalism and excellence.

The meeting concluded with an agreement on the need for objective partnership in public service, with both parties urging for exemplary and creative leadership to leave a lasting legacy.
