The Sun’s Atia Tilarious, 2 others moved to Kondengui prision
The Sun’s Political Desk Editor, Atia Tilarious Azhonwi, Amos Fufong of the Guardian Post and Mofor Ndong of the Voice of the Voiceless who were being held at the headquarters of the judicial police in Yaounde for the past two months, have been transferred to the Kondengui maximum security prison without officially being charged.
Since their arrest last February 9, 2017 in Buea from where they were transported overnight to Yaounde, Atia and co have appeared in Court twice but no charge have been filed against them.
Reports suggest that the trio will remain in Kondengui for the rest of their pre-trial detention.
The Sun newspaper once again condemns the arrest and detention of her political desk editor without charge and demand for his immediate release.
