A barrister at law, Henry Njeck Teboh and two others are reported to be under military detention after interrogation as part of investigations following the killing of a Police Commissioner in Kumba, South West Region.
The SUN gathered that Police Commissioner Tsimi was shot dead by unidentified gunmen in the Buea Road neighbourhood around CCAS Junction during the late hours of Sunday, July 8, 2018.
The gunmen reportedly attacked him as he returned home from work. Meanwhile, another report holds that the Police Commissioner was attacked while relaxing with friends at a joint in the said neighbourhood where he resides.
Unconfirmed report holds that the trio in question were in the company of the Police Commissioner when the incident took place. Barrister Njeck is said to be the friend of the victim. Both are said to be members of a veteran football club in Kumba.
All efforts by the Meme Lawyers to secure the release of their colleague proved futile. Investigations into the matter is still ongoing to reveal faces behind the assassination.
