On day twelve of the Elite 1 championship, Young Sports Academy of Bamenda defeated Canon of Yaounde one goal to zero at the military stadium in yaounde. they recorded a similar score on Day 13 when they beat Bamboutos of Mbouda at the Mile Six training centre.
Young Sport Academy, YOSA surprised many when they completed a hat trick of matches unbeaten after they drew at home with Dragon of Yaounde on Day 14 at the Mile Six Training Centre. The home team had opened scores at the 85th minute of play through an Alexander Nsangue header but this was neutralized almost immediately by Dragon’s Ulrich Owono.
Just seven out of eight matches took place because Cotton Sports of Garoua was involved in continental football
