The Mayor of Limbe III Council, Barrister Nseke Dibotti Luma, has been appointed Notable in the Limbe Paramount Chiefdom.

He was appointed on Friday, January 10, 2025 following a letter of appointment by the Paramount Chief of Limbe, HM Elufa John Manga Williams.

In his Intervention, HM John Elufa Manga Williams told The SUN that, the title is for persons who have voluntarily decided to join forces to develop Limbe from the traditional perceptive and equally shown interest to work with the Royal Chiefdom of Limbe.

He urged him to take his new role seriously and bring new impetus into the palace. He counted on his availability and readiness to assist the palace when need arises.

I can’t do all alone, I can’t do it only with my Chiefs and Quarter Heads, so we identify individuals to serve like our ambassadors, resource persons who can help us archive our goals either with their advise, positions and connections”, HM John Elufa explained.

He added that it is not empty recognition but a recognition that engages the individual. “It’s a responsibility and he has accepted to be available”, HM John Elufa said.

Speaking shortly after his appointment, Mayor Nseke Dibotti Luma said, “I received news of my appointment with great humility, in total and continuous loyalty to the ancestral powers of this land to the Glory of God”.

“I once more humbly in gratitude express my satisfaction to this honour to the Royal Chiefdom of Limbe and see this as a sign of recognition to efforts in my person and collectively to this town.”

In the days ahead, Mayor Nseke Dibotti Luma will be installed into his function as Notable in the Royal Chiefdom of Limbe.
