Speaking shortly after his visit to Limbe, the Minister said the main reason of his visit was to hear the challenges faced by collaborators and possible solutions to the problems.

“What I discovered is that the situation is well. Their mindset is good. When you see their results as far as the budget is concern, the figures are good but we can do more despite the situation we know in our country”, Minister Motaze said. He urged his collaborators to increase their efforts in what they are doing. “I told them that they have to be doing what they had been doing and redouble their efforts”, he said.

MINFI Minister used the occasion to debunk rumours about increase in taxes. “People think that there’s increase in taxes, this is not true; the figures indicate that there’s no increase in taxes”, he said.

The Minister said, “People should understand as well that they need roads, schools, hospitals among others and they do agree that we need to look for resources to realise what we want”, he pointed out.
