The recent appointments which made news within the national carrier, Cameroon Airlines Corporation (Camair-Co), have been cancelled. The Director General of Camair-Co, Louis Georges Njipendi has cancelled the appointment of some officials of the company approved by him on the 19th and 20th of August 2019.
Following a press release issued recently, Louis George Njipendi annuls the reported temporal appointment of the said Camair-Co officials barely 10 days after the announcement.
This decision follows instructions from the board chair of the Company, Transport Minister Ernest Massena Ngalle Bibehe who issued a communiqué demanding the Director General to annul all appointments carried out without the consent of the Board of Administration until an internal audit was conducted and submitted as it was required of him.
On the 19 and 20th August 2019, Louis George Njipendi signed releases temporarily appointing a number of officials at the Cameroon Airlines Corporation Camair-Co. This appointment created tensions between the two State officials, reports say.
