The General President of the Catholic Men Association, CMA, Okie Johnson Ndoh has received double honours for exemplary leadership. This took place last July 26, 2025 in Yaounde at the end of an enlarged National Executive Meeting of the CMA that took place at the Mvog Ada St Joseph Anglophone Parish in Yaoundé.
He was doubly honoured by the Catholic Men Association for his outstanding leadership skills and the Berla Chanels International Center who handed him a Men Should Lead Summit 2025 certificate, making Okie Johnson, their Honorary Ambassador.

He told reporters that ‘‘I am humbled by these awards because I did not know they were observing my leadership. We have our sustainability project which is already about 70% today, after the blessing and dedication of this structure by the Bishops, we are thinking of constructing our conference room which will become our major source of revenue and you saw how donors and well-wishers are mobilizing behind us in this second phase.’’
In a 10 points recommendation, members decided that the next National Executive Meeting of CMA is slated for Sagmelima in the South Region on a date to be announced later.
A presentation from the Archbishop of Bamenda, His Grace Andrew Fuanya Nkea titled “the role and responsibility of a Catholic Man in the Upcoming Electoral Season,” at the closing ceremony, he said ‘‘Faith must inform your political participation. If you don’t have a probably formed consciences, you cannot take part in an election. Voting is a spiritual act. This electoral season must be soaked in prayers for it to pass calmly.’’
The Archbishop of Bamenda told CMA members that “don’t vote for your country man but vote for values.”
Speaking earlier, Okie Johnson Ndoh who doubles as General Manager of the Hydrocarbons Prices Stabilization Fund, HPSF explained that ‘‘we want to start 2026 with our up lifted status in Catholic Men Association. CMA has been praying for the liberation of Cameroon since 2019, that peace should reign before, during and after the presidential election in the country.’’
Father Kisito was recognized for what he has been doing and the entire CMA family gave him an envelope to buy his medication.
The two-day meeting was held on the theme “faith and responsibility: whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord and not for men.” CMA members listened to a spiritual talk by the CMA National Assistant Chaplain, orientation word from the CMA General President, Okie Johnson Ndoh, presentation of commitment in the CMA by Archdiocese of Yaoundé, report on the CMA National Secretariat to know the way forward by Brother Emmanuel Besong etc.
