The spokesperson for Issa Tchiroma’s Cameroon National Salvation Front FSNC party, Jean Moïse Mbog officially announced his resignation from the political party recently.
In a statement addresed to Issa Tchiroma Bakary last October 29, Mbog writes that a number of incompatibilities had emerged between how the FSNC was being managed and his personal convictions. Citing that his political engagement respects Republican laws, public order and the welfare of Cameroonian citizens, he maintained that Tchiroma’s political project no longer reflected such values.

The erstwhile FSNC spokesperson revealed Tchiroma had become “inaccessible”, while holding a “radical position”. He said he feels deceived and betrayed, pertaining to the post-election violence which has seen the deaths of innocent people, incarcerations, attack on business outfits, destruction of buildings as well as attack on Defence and Security Forces.
While observing that his ties with Tchiroma, whom he has known in the last 10 years shall continue, Mbog maintains that such will not be along political lines anymore.
Dr Jean Moïse Mbog was the communications Director of Candidate Issa Tchiroma Bakary during the October 12, 2025 Presidential election. Observers say he is a forward thinker and an outspoken fellow.
