Quarterheads in Kaka II Bokoko village, Kumba I Sub Division, Meme Division, South West Region, Cameroon have been urged to promote, peace, living together and foster the development of the village.
This clarion call was made by his HRM Chief Dr. Ndome Samuel Mukwele, traditional ruler of Kake II Bokoko, Thursday May 8, 2025 at the installation ceremony of Ngoe Sylvester Mokanya as Qiarter Head of Etinge Quarter.
HRM Chief Dr Ndome Samuel Mukwele disclosed that the appointment of Ngoe Sylvester Mokanya, as Quarter Head is in conformity with the provisions of Decree No. 77/245 of 15th July 1977 which gives the chief prerogative power to appoint Quarter Heads within his chiefdom.
HRM Dr Ndome remarked that Ngoe Sylvester Mukwele was bestowed the confidence to head Etinge Quarter due to his quality leadership that ties up with his personality. Ngoe Sylvester, HRM hinted, has a reasonable age, is literate, capable of representing his quarter where and when need arises, he is level headed and a peace maker and a father that has the concern for the wellbeing of his people

The Chief reminded the new Quarter Head of Etinge Quarter that he is responsible for transmitting the directives, instructions of the chief to his people and ensuring that same are fully implemented, help the chief in the maintenance of law and order in the quarter, mobilising the quarter inhabitantss at all times to keep the quarter clean so as to put away common diseases resulting from dirty environment, ensuring that there is a permanent atmosphere of peace in the quarter at all times, seeing into the sucessful functioning of the quarter Vigilante Committee and ensuring that owners of domestic animals empound their animals to avoid them from straying and destroying other farmers’ crops.
HRM Chief Dr Ndome Samuel, called on the population of Etinge Quarter to accord support and collaboration to the new Quarter Head so that he serves them with justice and equity. The new Quarter Head of Etinge Quarter was installed alongside his Quarter Councilors with Mbile John as Chairman, Muluh Terence as Vice Chairman, Chi Sammah Louis as Secretary, Nganda Emmanuel as Youth President, Grace Njweng ,Women Representative, Tah Ferdinand and Njom Godlove as Social secretaries respectively, Anchu Roland as Protocol, Tangah Mercy as Chief of Health, Ndingah Richard Works man, Fomubad James, Bingeh James Mosamai James and Dibo Patrick as Technical Advisers respectively and Okole Cecilia as Financial Secretary.
The grandiose ceremony was graced by cultural display.
