Limbe-born and US-based musician, Zonetak Sokoudjou recently launched his new album titled “The Patriot” in Limbe.

The album features 17 tracks, including “Egwokor,” “Bologue,” “Mademoiselle,” and “Sokodjou.” The concert, themed “Mental Health,” drew fans from Buea, Douala, Tiko, and Limbe.
Zonetak emphasised the importance of mindset, saying, “The way we think about ourselves, the way we look at ourselves, and the way we want others to look at us has never been more important than now.”
He added; “Everyone has something to offer, and nobody has everything, but everybody has something.” Zonetak challenged the audience to collaborate to change society, stating, “You will only be treated the way you want society to treat you, so let’s start respecting ourselves.”
Who is Zonetak Sokoudjou?
Born in Kumba but raised in Limbe, Zonetak Sokoudjou is a prince from Bamenjou and the stepbrother son of HRM Sokoudjou, the current Bamenjou clan head.
He migrated to the United States in the early 1990s. His real name is Emmanuel Takusi Zonetak.
